As the Head of Inclusion in a British school and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), my role involves leading a dedicated inclusion team of five staff members, guiding them to provide effective support for all learners. I oversee the development and implementation of inclusive practices throughout the school, ensuring that every student, regardless of their individual needs, has the opportunity to thrive.
My responsibilities include observing classes to assess the quality of teaching and the effectiveness of support strategies, working closely with teachers to provide tailored guidance, and holding regular meetings with parents to discuss their child’s progress and address any concerns.
