Accomplishments

Selected for the England karate squad allowing me to compete and medal in many national and international kumite (fighting) tournaments, the highest achievement being taking second place in the international Banzai-cup open, hosted in Berlin and taking a bronze from my first world championships officiated by the World Karate Federation. As karate is a solo sport it allowed for development of an autonomous mindset from a young age which has helped with my decision making and ability to focus on goals.

Received a trial for entry into the Wasps rugby club academy. The trial was earnt by playing for the A team for Magdalen college school during time spent there and playing for my club (Gosford all blacks) consistently at least twice a week. Being a rugby player in a driven team nurtured skills in communication and ability to work with utmost synergy within these teams.

Completed a marathon in 3:47:23 (time taken H:MM:SS) with the goal to raise awareness and funding for cancer research UK. In total 34 people donated raising in excess of £1,250 to help fight against cancer.

Coaching younger students at both my karate dojo and the rugby club I attend, giving me the opportunity to understand how to teach and lead others.
