I was briefly a tutor at Kumon for 6 months. My job was to help students (age 4-13) to excel in particular topics in maths and english. As a result, this helped me receive outstanding communication and problem-solving skills. My ambition to pursue a career in medicine, led me to apply to a virtual work experience program. This gave me an insight on the career of a doctor which I believe will help me familiarise to future situations as a health care worker. I have also completed a first-aid course at Saint Johns Ambulance which gave me the fundamental skills needed to hopefully enter a profession in healthcare.
Furthermore, I take part in many extra circular activities. Recently, I participated in the Jack Petchey speak out challenge and managed to move on to the next stage. This experience really helped me improve my confidence and critical thinking-skills. Furthermore, I am a part of the combined cadets force which builds integrity, teamwork skills and trains our minds to work under high pressure environments. In addition, I received a bronze certificate in the UKMT and and passed Algebra level 3, qualification exam. Moreover, I reviewed a silver certificate on the British physics olympiad. Having being successful in academics I believe I have built many skills that would aid me to be an exceptional candidate.
