I am due to complete the top-up programme from registered nursing associate to registered nurse in the next 8 weeks.

I have spent the duration of this programme developing my clinical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. I have been exposed to a variety of nursing environments, from nursing homes to prisons, throughout my placements, and have significantly improved my adaptability and resilience since the beginning of my training.

I already have NMC registration as a nursing associate, and I am now looking to transfer into the post of a newly qualified RN. I have worked in healthcare for over 12 years and have built excellent communication and person-centred skills over the years. I believe in truly holistic health care where the patient/resident/service users are equal partners in decisions related to their care.
