I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science at Northumbria University, and I possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

My background includes managing a clothing business, industrial training in mechanical maintenance, and providing compassionate care for family members and children. These experiences have shaped my ability to adapt, multitask, and effectively work with diverse individuals and teams.

Currently enrolled in a Master’s in Data Science at Northumbria University, where I hope to develop expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and programming with a keen interest in applying these skills to business, healthcare, and engineering sectors.

For nearly three years, I worked as a part-time Director/Manager of a clothing business, overseeing operations, sales, and customer relations. I successfully managed inventory, pricing strategies, and business growth initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership, financial management, and problem-solving abilities. This role strengthened my ability to make data-driven decisions, adapt to market trends, and manage people effectively.

During my one-year tenure as an Industrial Apprentice at the Department of Works and Services, I gained hands-on experience in vehicle repair, maintenance, and welding fabrication. My responsibilities included replacing brake pads and servicing brake calipers under supervision, performing oil changes, and assisting in welding and metalwork. This experience enhanced my technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured, safety-focused environment.

My personal experience as a caregiver for my chronically ill mother and elderly father with mild dementia has developed my compassion, patience, and interpersonal skills. I provided daily personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and emotional support. These responsibilities strengthened my ability to handle high-pressure situations, provide empathy-driven support, and maintain a calm, reassuring presence in challenging circumstances.

As a Sunday school volunteer, I have been actively involved in catering for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement during classes. This role has refined my communication, supervision, and problem-solving skills, enabling me to effectively manage children in group settings while fostering a positive learning environment.
