  • Currently working for Briggs Equipment as Mobile Field Service Engineer, for the last 7 1/2years performing PPM's, follow up repair work & breakdowns on a wide variety of plant & equipment on customer sites & workshop. Liaising with customers, office team and suppliers to plan and implement work calendar within KPI's and customer individual cost/ spend limits & minimising disruption & downtime, source workshop & parts manuals, order parts, generating estimates for high value work, keep up to date with micro learning and online modules for H&S, environmental initiatives & HR company protocols. Maintain accurate records, improved traceability and accountability.

Previously as a semi skilled engineering fitter at two local sawmills. Working in shifts looking after all factory machinery and some mobile plant as part of a small team doing reactive breakdown repair as well as PPM,s, blade changes and machine set up on all sawmill equipment. Also working for one of the major truck suppliers as a semi skilled mechanic working on trucks doing basic servicing, PDI, assisting mechanics and general workshop duties & for a local quick fit type company fitting tyres, exhausts, suspension parts & brakes to light vehicles.
