  • Responsible for all aspects of moderation, preparation and delivery of coursework
  • Led taught and developed all science units and supported other members with these core units, these units integrate within all levels of the curriculum giving me a vast breadth of understanding of all levels of qualifications offered within the college
  • These units were taken forward during the merger and used effectively
  • NCNL Presenter within the new merged college
  • Became Worldskills mentor for beauty and also mentor for other trainers throughout the college

Accomplishments

    Owning a successful salon alongside a full time educational post

    The salon is successfully managed by a Manager who I communicate with frequently. It was started in a partnership and is a great success. This was initiated to gain invaluable business experience.

    Gaining the role of Senior Lecturer through a competitive interview process

    Gaining and successfully carrying out the role of Senior Lecturer. During this time I had successful external moderation visits and growth within the department.
