During my final year doing my HND I collaborated with senior lecturers and the charity coordinator to successfully plan and achieve the goals of my team and the fundraiser. We engaged with students, faculty and the community face to face and through the use of social media platforms. We had clients with various heath and physical impairments and thus confidentiality and a friendly, respectful demeanour was used always. I was responsible for the management of a varied team and utilised each persons strengths to unite and achieve a phenomenal outcome for the charity and its patrons.
Establishing, nurturing and training a new team with all the company processes to ensure we have the confidence and tools to develop both myself and the team to reach our full potential as it was a new business launched in the UK. Utilise company resources to plan, organise and set day to day priorities for our team and distributed a concise and detailed plan for the UK wide stores at the beginning of the week. Each new day it was my responsibility to open the reception and courts to perform security processes and ensure courtroom, court officials and appellant areas readiness in preparation for the schedules ahead. Liaise with Adjudicators, interpreters, lawyers and appellants to ensure efficient time management and conductivity. Patience and understanding is essential for each appellant, displaying excellent customer service skills when communicating with people in such a challenging environment for them. I was professional, approachable and utilised my indepth admin and training skills to ensure efficient court proceedings. Assist the adjudicators with attention to detail whilst working under pressure, ensuring all sensitive information was handled with complete discretion and confidentiality. My duties also included court librarian and post mistress responsibilities, as well as full reception operation. I took responsibility for clients with disabilities in order to aide their comfort and confidence in the service.
Liaise with the parts department to control stock ordering and cataloguing accurately face to face, on calls and electronically. Inputting data and performing Purchase Ledger duties alongside this role, this included liaising with management, various departments and external resources to fulfill and satisfy invoices received. Worked closely with various teams within my branch to promote team efficiency and strengthen relationships for a healthy, productive working environment With consistent communicative skills and relevant feedback for progression. I also covered the reception daily for lunch breaks which entailed an intense 20 line phone system and directive. Professionalism and accurate listening skills were amust to ensure efficient time management.
As weekend staff my main focus was customer sales route and stock replenishment. As a company their priority was the customer experience which included engaging with to facilitate their purchases whilst instilling the values of the company which were to create a trustworthy loyal client base by being genuine and knowledgeable about the products offered. Respecting and treating each customer equally and with a friendly manor. Maintaining financial security by accurate data entry and stock prevention procedures.
