As stated in my work history, I have spent the last 16 years of my career in the field of nursing, after qualifying in 2010. Prior to this, my background was in retail, spending many years working for New Look.
My career at New look began aged 16 years working a few hours on a weekend at my local store. This progressed to me being promoted to store supervisor, then deputy manager, then holding manager.
From there I was promoted to floor manager at the (then) new Bradford store. I remained in my role there until I left to embark on The Access to higher education course at Craven college in Skipton. I continued working for new look as a sales advisor at the Skipton store in between my studies, eventually leaving altogether in 2007 when I commenced my nursing studies at University.
Although not directly related to this role, I feel that there are lots of transferrable skills learnt during my nursing career that I can take forward into this role.
At this stage in my nursing career I feel that the time has come for a complete change of direction. The bridal industry has always interested me, and I feel that I have the experience, warmth, kindness and dedication to ensure that each bride has the best, personalised and unique experience possible.

Loyal
