In this role I was responsible for supporting adults to continue to live in their own homes safely and to increase self sufficiency in their daily living skills. I worked alongside clients, their families and and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcome was achieved. I completed all training required to gather the knowledge and experience to confidently give advice on best practice and new ideas. I assisted with mobility issues, administering medication and enhanced the wellbeing of service users by listening and providing emotional support. I contributed feedback on patient progress and supported whilst making adjustments in their personalised care plans. As a person with excellent communication skills and compassion I thrived on building up trust and creating professional bonds with the majority of my service users thus creating a safe comforting relationship. I monitored and documented changes in behaviours and regularly updated my team members. I was respected as a team member and also welcomed by my service users and their families.
As a sales accounts clerk I ensured a smooth operation between customers placing and receiving their orders. I picked and packed orders, ensuring a quick delivery, and also maintained knowledge of products to provide information and advice, building up strong reliable relationships with my customers to maintain repeat business. I managed customer accounts with meticulous attention to detail and resolved customer issues efficiently. I input sales, purchase and cash transactions ensuring precision at all times. Calculated bills owed by customers, prepared invoices and distributed statements. Helped with the preparation of end of month duties and worked alongside accountant to produce end of year figures.
