• Explored the world of dentistry and the distinctions in different specialities.
• Learnt tooth and jaw anatomy.

• Shadowed senior and junior dentists.
• Witnessed a multitude of dental procedures, from amalgam and composite fillings to more complex procedures such as root canal treatment.
• Exposed to the multidisciplinary team and ethical complexities of Dentistry.

Edgbaston Dental Centre, Edgbaston

• Learnt about how crowns, bridges and dentures are prepared and fitted.
• Exposed to veneers and invisalign.
• Witnessed tooth whitening.
