The Project is for migrating The Digital Library from Plum Tree Portal to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.The TDL Portal sites provide an efficient interface between users and experts. User must be able to freely navigate content in this site similar to plumtree portal and utilize a personal page that is specific to them. The user shall be able to configure this page to his/her needs. User must be able to search TDL crawled content and retrieve a result set based on the TDL indexed content. This migration includes a user interface migration and functional Portlet migration. The Port let functionality will be migrated to ASP.NET 2.0 web parts. The Digital Library enables users to quickly navigate and review crawled content aggregated in the portal. Content is displayed using Web Parts that support personalization. Personalized data will be stored in personal properties of the Web Part.
