Thank you for taking the time to read my CV.
I am looking for a change in career and would like to return to an office based position.
I am a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in GDPR compliance, recruitment support, and database management. Demonstrates exceptional data entry speed and proficiency in Microsoft Office, coupled with invoicing and billing expertise. Known for patience, diplomacy, and flexibility in task handling. Career goals include leveraging skills to enhance operational efficiency within a dynamic organisation.
My core responsibilities were to deliver a large volume of supplies to care homes across the U.K, predominantly in the south of England.
Working as a trade plate driver in a team, collecting and delivering used cars via We Buy Any Car and delivering them to the auction house. It was a great job and i very much enjoyed my time there, unfortunately I was made redundant due to a lack of work volume.
My typical day at B&Q consisted of picking and loading my day's deliveries into the appropriate sized van, usually 10-30 drops around both Lancashire and Cumbria. Always ensuring every delivery is made the right way, leaving every customer happy with their delivery service.
Driving a 26T Volvo FM, delivering large quantities of primarily chemicals across the UK.
During this period, i was enlisted as an agency worker in order to build up some experience in the logistics industry.
Working with many big names in the sector, such as Parcelforce, Hermes, Wincanton and Amazon.
My role at Fleet Service consisted of multiple roles, administration, invoicing, driving, reception, shipping and much more. Asking me what I didn't do would be much easier. I have a genuine passion for delivering fantastic customer service and making sure that my company thrives in every area I can. I also gained a lot of experience being a strong and confident team leader, as well as an independent worker. Most of my experience as a team leader came from running the reception and workshop, making sure that my colleagues were always operating to the best of their abilities. I never say no when being asked to perform a task outside of my comfort zone, as I see it as a way to improve and expand my skill-set. I'm great with computers, often being the go-to guy, when it comes to computer maintenance. As well as this, I am also very confident using programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook. I feel I have always been a highly important asset to the company and should you choose to employ me, you will see that level of hard work and loyalty for yourselves.
