Until recently, I have worked in the same Primary education setting for 25 years, unfortunately, with great sadness, have been made redundant. I have thoroughly enjoyed my position there, hence the reason for my 25 years of loyalty and total commitment.
Being driven, compassionate and dedicated, my goal is to hopefully continue employment within Primary Education, as this is my chosen career path and would like to offer my knowledge and experience and be able to build upon this further, to be able to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
Throughout my years at Western Primary School, I have achieved my Learning Mentor and H.L.T.A. status and was employed as a HLTA for many years covering P.P.A and staff absences throughout the key stages, until my employment ended.
I am eager to contribute to pupil success and growth to enable them to reach their full potential, through the Learning Mentor role.
I have successfully collaborated with teachers to provide a consistent approach to learning in all areas of the curriculum, Adept at adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and enhance academic achievement.
Skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum understanding, with a strong focus on social emotional learning and multicultural.
