Summary

I have experience teaching KS3-KS5 in history and KS3/4 in religion. I absolutely love teaching and my enthusiasm to inspire the students shows in every lesson. With my previous roles, I have pastoral and people management experience. For example, working with those with attendance between 86-92% and seeing how I can help them. Or assisting Year 10 & 11 tutors with behaviour issues and rewarding those who adhere to school behaviour policies. I am more than happy to improve my learning every day and am happy to participate in curriculum development. I have worked throughout all my years as a teacher, to try to improve all students' outcomes. I have run intervention classes and homework and revision classes targeting PP students underachieving, those below their target grades and non-attenders through teams, focussing on the knowledge and the skills needed to make progress. These have all been to help the students reach their potential at all levels. My intentions are to enable all students to reach this, enjoy learning and become confident individuals.
