I am a BACP Accredited individual and couples counsellor who is passionate about my therapeutic practice and supporting mental health. I have 19 years experience of working with clients from different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. The first session is an holistic assessment for me to HEAR and LISTEN to clients and the Relational Approach I work with is Person Centred which explores the here and now. Then the Psychodynamic side, allows the client to consider past events and childhood. I have excellent feedback from clients and Core 10 results.
I offer a warm, caring, non-judgemental and compassionate space to help clients consider change, being mindful of the only person they can change is themselves.
I have great communication skills, ICT skills, record keeping and I actively participate in reflective practitioner meetings, annual appraisals and line management meetings. I attend monthly continual professional development meetings to keep up to date with my practice.
I am committed to working equally, valuing diversity, anti-discriminatory practice and monitoring health and safety.
