• Supporting adults and young people to ensure their legal rights are upheld and their voice heard when they are receiving hospital treatment for their mental health.
• Maintained up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation including Children Act 1989 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

• My role involved forging collaboration work with Health Professionals, to ensure patients receive a referral for tailor-made advice and support from a vast number of local community groups and charities available

• I took a two-year career break from the Charity industry, relocated to North Wales and I project managed a new business from scratch.

• My role included all aspects of engaging with hard to reach families and offering a holistic level of support.

• Developing and leading on community partnership to foster community cohesion and ensure service are in place to help students and their families with difficult home lives.

• I developed local campaigns to move people beyond agreeing that cruelty to children is wrong, to taking that crucial step of mobilising all sections of the community to act to end child cruelty.

• Responsible for developing and managing social policy campaigns particularly aimed at influencing policy and for helping Citizens Advice Bureaux become agents for change
• Responsible for producing briefings and consultation responses on behalf of the service and create campaign material for the use of the 450-member bureaux as part of campaigns that make a significant impact.

• Coordinating a team of Health Outreach Advisors to deliver the Citizens Advice service into the community to improve health
