I am skilled in managing budgets and advocating for individuals with additional needs. I am an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including families, social workers, and local authorities. I have disabled son (now an adult) who require support and my daughters both had medical issues that required multiple appointments therefore I stopped paid employment .
For some of this time I was a volunteer panel member within the Children's Hearing system.
This included reading, assessing and assimilating large volumes of information from a variety of sources. It also involved complex decision making and an ability to explain the reasons for your decisions.
Seafield was a day and residential school which catered for approximately 66 boys aged 6-18 who experienced social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
