Summary

I qualified as a Social Worker in 1996 and have had ongoing registration with the regulatory bodies since their inception, currently Social Work England, and am in the process of registering with Social Work Wales.

I am currently an Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Advisor in West Sussex and monitor the progress of both Care Plans and Child Protection Plans for the children I casehold, as well as ensuring practice quality across the service through completing Audits.

I have worked as a Social Worker in a number of Local Authority's, the education sector and voluntary agencies. and have experience of completing, within relevant timescales a variety of assessments; Child and Family Assessments, Reunification Assessments, Pathway Plans, Care Plans, Child in Need and Protection Plans, s.47 Child Protection Enquiries, Viability Assessments, Risk Assessments, as well as undertaking complex Parenting Capacity Assessments and preparing and presenting evidence within the court arena. I have also previously undertaken Achieving Best Evidence training and Form F Training.
