Machine Operator in textile manufacturing producing woven material for paper making plants. Working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift system.

Operating up to 3 weaving looms at a time ensuring they are running to their optimum ability while constantly checking the woven material for any faults and correcting or repairing any that may be found.

Working various shifts of up to 9 hours ranging from early mornings to late at night including weekends.

Completing pre trip inspection to ensure the safety and road worthiness of the vehicle I was allocated.

Proceeded to drive on various routes throughout my shift always ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

Always driving safely and keeping within the rules and regulations.

Answering any questions that the passengers may have about the routes and running times.

Working on various sections of an automated bread making plant from loading ingredients into large mixing machines through to the ovens and then finally the slicing and bagging section. Working a 12 hour continental shift system of days and nights.

I was mainly on the oven section which meant my role was to check that the baked bread coming out was to the correct size, weight and temperature required.

Always maintaining a clean and hygienic work area for food production.

HGV class 2 driving for Brakes Foodservice, Shred-It and an agency based in Stockport. The positions included the delivery of chilled and ambient food products to various pub chains and restaurants for Brakes. Shredding confidential documents from offices for Shred-It and transporting clothing items from depot to depot for a company called Alexander Sheridan which was through the agency.

Completing vehicle walkaround safety checks prior to starting my shift, driving within the tachograph laws and always driving safely.

Working firstly a 8 hour shift system of 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 then on to a 12 hour continental shift system including weekends.

Operating up to 50 weaving looms ensuring the continuous running of the looms whilst continuously checking the fabric being woven for faults and reporting any found to the production leader.
