As branch manager my role is to look after a team of 7 people which consisted of drivers ,parts advisors and my assistant manager while working closely with the divisional managers and directors. My duties include bringing extra business into the department whilst delegating duties for members of staff, answering phone calls and customer email order while maintaining KPIs , stock orders and making sure the department was being profitable and retaining a professional atmosphere. I also do quarterly staff appraisals for help and support they they are concerned about regarding training and promotion prospects.
My duty in this position included teaching and mentoring tele-sales advisors and organizing deliveries with the delivery drivers to make sure trade customers got their deliveries correctly and on time. Also answering the telephone taking orders from retail as well as trade customers. I was responsible for making sure the correct discounts were given to maintain maximum sales and profit, whilst upselling parts on sales transactions when possible. I was also responsible for staff attendance reports and sorting the end of the day banking which required handing large amounts of cash, cheques and card transactions. My role also included making sure all credit returns and surcharges were returned and keeping the paperwork all updated and making sure housekeeping and delivery vans were kept clean and well maintained.
My role in this position is to serve technicians on the workshop counter also serve retail customers on the telephone and on the retail counter. Also my duties are to order parts for non-franchise vehicles that our car sales department have bought in, or have been sold. Also, to send credits back and sort paperwork from stock that's coming in and being sold for which I would reorder to replenish stock. My main duty for my role was to make sure the parts department reached its monthly targets and its quarterly targets and doing the end of the day banking and verify invoices to be paid. Also, I return warranty and exchange surcharge parts back to Vauxhall and chasing up credits which are due back.
My role consisted of serving 10 technicians , trade and retail sales over the telephone from body shops from single parts to full body work jobs. Organizing return and warranty parts to go back to Toyota and making sure the credits invoices matched up with the returns. Working closely with the service department and making sure all the orders are correct while making it a professional department as possible. Also maintaining good house keeping to make sure everything was tidy and put away to keep up within the health and safety regulations.
