- Working in a family-owned construction company as an Assistant Project Manager allowed me to be involved in every sphere of business, from HR and finance to marketing and hands-on project management.
- I had the opportunity to work with a close-knit team, which really put me in challenging positions, it meant coordinating complex construction projects by maintaining employee schedules, optimising workflows, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- It also involved property management, hence direct experience in site assessment, regulatory compliance, and property dealings.
- The most exciting part of my work was the contribution I could make toward the design of projects by developing models and visualisations through Revit and 3ds Max.
- I would create detailed and interactive three-dimensional models from conceptual architectural ideas and would present these to the client and other stakeholders with clarity on what the finished product would look like.
- This enabled me to integrate creativity with technical skill and built a deep understanding of construction project lifecycles.
- The experience of working here has honed not only my project management capabilities but has also laid a sound foundation in the spheres of property and construction management skills I am keenly looking forward to bringing into future projects.
