After the decision was made by Renault to move away from providing vehicles with drivers the last but one contract Katsouris went to Ryder in early 2016. I re-joined the B&Q contract as Regional Operations Manager for the north of the country managing in excess of 50 stores with four direct reportees. The AOM's managed the day to day operation in their given area.
During Covid we saw a significant change in peoples purchasing habits and witnessed a change from an annual decline in volumes through the rigids going from strength to strength post 2020.
November 2021 we transferred under TUPE to GXO Ltd and moved form a business winding down to a successful and growing company with strong beliefs around colleague Health and Safety and Legal Compliance .

During this period I was responsible for a number of Contracts across England after three Senior Operations Managers were made redundant is a cost saving exercise.
After a successful Pea Harvest Season in 2023, BRS Ltd won the contract from Lex Transfleet to support Celsius 1st operating from the Cold store DC in Hams Hall and the Birds Eye factories in Hull and Lowestoft. We ran a fleet of tractor units operating on a 27/7 operation moving Birds Eye and Walls Ice cream products between factories and DC's. This developed to deliver product into customers such as Morrisons on route. After Celsius went into administration I worked with PWC to continue to transport products until the business was sold to H Yearsley. We continued with this partnership until it was taken over by DHL.
Working as an Area Operations Manager I was responsible for implementing and managing the new B&Q Stores which were being won from Lex Transfleet and Ryder.
During the period working on the B&Q Contract I was responsible for two outbases in Exeter and Newport. The outbases were a collaboration with Wincanton and supported the store deliveries on the Woolworth Contract. Exeter operated a mixture of Wincanton Employees, BRS Ltd employees and agency drivers to support peak demand. Newport operated with Wincanton FTE and Agency colleagues booked through BRS. Vehicle fleet were tractor units which were provided by BRS Ltd.
