  • The undertaken of statutory independent monitoring and scrutiny of Aspris children’s residential services in England, in addition, non-statutory monitoring visits in Scotland. It is my role to critically scrutinise the performance of homes against the relevant regulations, minimum standards and guidance. Should any shortfalls be identified recommendations are made to assist improvement. In particular, I make informed and evidenced judgements regarding whether children and young people are effectively safeguarded and their wellbeing promoted.
