Working on the ASIC design team, my role has been to act as interface between the IC design team and the rest of the system hardware team.

• Innovative IC Package design including stress, thermal, and power conditioning.
• Inter-team and cross-site Project Management. Holding the core technology of the product from design through to high volume manufacture, ensuring that an effective NPI process has been achieved. Projects I have been managing have been delivered fully functional, on schedule, in budget with high repeatability and reliability. Experience in Jira and Smartsheets for project tracking and task distribution.
• Process development for microelectronic assembly. These processes include die attach, wirebond, encapsulation, and sub-mount assembly.
• Wafer processing - DAF and Dice. Processing of multi-project wafers utilizing Laser Stealth dice techniques alongside traditional Laser ablation and mechanical dice.
• Supplier management: sourcing, vetting, quoting, DFM, and low volume order placement of diverse components including custom multi-layer ceramic substrates, epoxies, coated glass, PCB/As, tooling, etc.
• Conducted root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and implemented corrective actions accordingly.
• Streamlined workflows to reduce bottlenecks and improve overall productivity rates.

• Lived in China for 23 months working directly with suppliers to drive product cost reduction and product quality improvements.
• Managed off-site teams to ensure that product development timelines maintained alignment with the target schedules.
• Drove product cost reduction of 14% during a 6 month deep dive on a mid-life product.
• Photovoltaic Silicon wafer processing
• Developed innovative methods for utilizing cutting edge materials to create a unique product in the Solar Panel product category.
• Created and managed documentation of key product requirements, especially in regard to design for manufacturability.
• Defined quality control and inspection plans to maximize product quality and yield in production.
• Identified, assessed and onboarded parallel suppliers to increase supply chain capacity and stability.
• Worked directly with some of the world's leading battery suppliers in order to utilize their product data collection and quality control platforms.
• Championed a company-wide digitalization, data capture, and data analysis initiative.
