  • During my time with Production Plus, whilst brief, I like to think I had a positive impact in a relatively short period of time
  • Within 6 months I was invited to join the Senior Management Team
  • The main responsibilities of my position were the management of a number of venues and the staff therein – namely, Emirates Stadium, The Grove, Watford and St Georges Park
  • Managed large-scale projects and introduced new systems, tools, and processes to achieve challenging objectives.
  • Implemented and developed operational standards, policies and procedures.
  • Executed appropriate staffing and budgetary plans to align with business forecasts.
  • Developed proposals and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Provided strong leadership to enhance team productivity and morale.
  • I used my many years previous experience to aid event managers within the venues, whilst also looking after my own clients and account managing their events
  • We had a very close working relationship with the venues and all the individual departments within
  • Budgets ranged from events of a few thousand, up to events of £1/4m+
  • Unfortunately, due to the current Covid situation, the company had to make a large number of redundancies, of which I was one.

  • Whilst my children were at their youngest, i decided to take a little time to have a more flexible work life balance in order that i could be more heavily involved with them growing up
  • I have also taken this time to become a school governor and have also taken on the responsibility of taking the role of Chair of Finance as well
  • Whilst I was Freelance, the majority of my contracts were from a new Startup Energy Drink, called Wake – www.wakedrinks.com which has seen a very successful uptake in Asia, in particular, China and Hong Kong
  • We managed to partner with the British Motorsports Festival in Beijing and were also included in the UK Government “Exporting is Good” campaign.
  • Oversaw preparation and management of event budgets to deliver at or below projected costs.
  • Managed administrative logistics of events planning, event booking, and event promotions.

  • Airstar European Network is a specialist lighting company for three individual industry sectors, those being Events, Film and Construction / Emergency Services
  • I was recruited to turn around the performance of a vastly underperforming office, whilst at the same time overseeing the Event side of the business, and the launch of the Construction / Emergency sector
  • Day to day duties include: general running of the company, recruitment, marketing, PR as well as Sales Management and Profit and Loss of the office
  • Since June 2011 - myself and the team have managed to take a under performing office and transform it into one of Europe's top performing office with an increase in business of 82%
  • Clients have ranged vastly - from the supply of lighting to Private parties, up to the launch of F1 cars, Luxury brand Polo competitions, and from small budget TV commercials to multiple million pound Hollywood films
  • I was very privileged to work with some incredible clients whilst at Airstar including, Lotus GP, Polo Clubs, Jonathan Saunders, Top Shop, Dior, Nike, William Hill, BBC Radio One, Selfridges, Lucozade and Goodwood to name but a few.
  • I developed and maintained relationships with customers and suppliers through account development.
  • I drove year-over-year business growth while leading operations, strategic vision, and long-range planning.
  • Analyzed market trends and competitor activities to create competitive advantages.
  • Introduced new methods, practices, and systems to reduce turnaround time.
