Summary

I have 20+ years’ experience of joinery. Throughout my career I have worked within various settings spanning from residential and commercial establishments. I have experience of working within established businesses, as well as experience of setting up and running my own joinery and carpentry business. Whereby I focused upon manufacturing pre-fabricated timber walls and bespoke furniture.

To which unfortunately ended due to family circumstances, which I am happy to discuss further upon receiving correspondence.

I have gained a multitude of skills throughout my career, to which are transferable within a wide range of settings and has fundamentally supported my development in progressing within my role. Whereby I have acted as site manager and lead on construction projects. I have directed teams and ensured staff were equipped with appropriate materials, guidelines and skills to perform well. This has led to successfully completing projects on-time and within budget. I have strategically deployed construction staff to maximise productivity, of up to 18 joiners at one time. Whilst organised site's workload and resources to optimise output and productivity. Thus, in turn providing strong presence on site to coordinate execution of construction works, whilst managing a team of sub-contractor tradespeople. I pride myself upon providing mentorship, support and team management. With particular consideration given to communication. I have experience communicating with clients and customers. Whereby I have managed site instructions, utilised and updated daily diaries, record sheets, finances and other forms of site reporting.
