Summary

Highly experienced Electronics Engineer whose has worked extensively on Radio and Radar , In Flight Entertainment(IFE), Computer, Microprocessor , Electronic and electro-Mechanical equipments in both the ground and Aircraft(Avionic) environments. This involved working to very high safety and quality standards and involved effective liaison with customers . I have recently passed a Cisco network Academy course as part of my Open University Studies.

Senior Technician

Repaired ,modified and tested avionics equipments for Certified Release to Service(CRS) as per a JAR-145 Maintenance organisation. Components were released to EASA and FAA levels. Units included Radio Navigation receivers(VOR & ILS) , Radio Transceivers, Radio Altimeters ,Ground Proximity Warning Systems(GPWS), In Flight Entertainment(IFE) seat back LCD displays , handsets and Video Modulator equipments .

Air Traffic Engineer 2

Repaired and Tested electronic equipments supporting the Air Traffic Controllers at the London Air Traffic Control centre. Additional Skills

I have extensive experience of using the following Test Equipment :- Spectrum Analysers (incorporating Sweep Generators) , Signal Generators (RF , AF & Video) , Oscilloscopes , Audio Analysers , Audio Wattmeters , RF Wattmeters , Power Supplies , Multimeters , Attenuators and Automatic Test Equipments(ATE).

This involved working with various cables(RF 50 ohm , Video 75 ohm , fibre optic ) and cable assemblies/harnesses.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy running , walking , cycling , going to the gym and sailing .
