Highly experienced Electronics Engineer whose has worked extensively on Radio and Radar , In Flight Entertainment(IFE), Computer, Microprocessor , Electronic and electro-Mechanical equipments in both the ground and Aircraft(Avionic) environments. This involved working to very high safety and quality standards and involved effective liaison with customers . I have recently passed a Cisco network Academy course as part of my Open University Studies.
Repaired ,modified and tested avionics equipments for Certified Release to Service(CRS) as per a JAR-145 Maintenance organisation. Components were released to EASA and FAA levels. Units included Radio Navigation receivers(VOR & ILS) , Radio Transceivers, Radio Altimeters ,Ground Proximity Warning Systems(GPWS), In Flight Entertainment(IFE) seat back LCD displays , handsets and Video Modulator equipments .
Repaired and Tested electronic equipments supporting the Air Traffic Controllers at the London Air Traffic Control centre. These included CCTV systems, multitrack voice recorders, colour and monochrome CRT monitors,computer PCB boards, communications distribution equipments, radio pagers and emergency power supply maintenance.
Carried out repairs and maintenance on the Airfield Runway Lighting system which was controlled by the Air Traffic Control tower. This involved working on current regulators and a computer control system.

Repair , testing and scheduled maintenance of all airfield radio and radar equipments. These included search surveillance and precision approach primary radars,radio navigation aids such as airfield beacons ,Instrument landing System(ILS), HF,VHF & UHF radio transmitters and receivers and all radio radar equipments in the Air Traffic Control tower to include PPI radar displays and multi track tape voice recorders.

This involved working with various cables(RF 50 ohm , Video 75 ohm , fibre optic ) and cable assemblies/harnesses.
