Since joining Whitecroft as a lighting designer, I have completed my LIA award, achieving a top grade of A* and being nominated for 'learner of the year' award.

I have worked on projects in multiple sects, such as nuclear, healthcare & education giving me a much more rounded experience of lighting design.

• Supported sales team by providing technical knowledge during client pitches.
• Contributed significantly towards green initiatives by designing energy-efficient lighting systems using renewable sources wherever possible.
• Optimised energy efficiency through the use of advanced LED technologies.

• Raising quotations and orders for large retail accounts.
• Liaising with production and transport departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Providing final accounts to clients once projects are closed.
• Using client's data portals to collate start on site, contractor and delivery information and create delivery schedules and update databases as necessary.
• Liaise with contractors & wholesalers to keep them updated regarding their orders and solve any issues that may arise.

• Routinely inspect components, metalwork and manufacturing processes to ensure the ISO quality procedures set out are being adhered to fully.
• Generated daily reports which included faults, damages and procedure non-conformities to assist in the business's continual quality development.
• Conducted minor repairs to stock where necessary.
• Training new staff in quality procedures to assist them in performing their daily tasks.

• Performed electronic testing of fittings to ensure operation within correct parameters before finishing / packing stages.
• Assisting colleagues in troubleshooting and fault-finding to increase output.
• Maintaining of testing equipment and upkeep of the testing programme database on several workstations.
