CEO / CCO
Winchester,UK

Summary

  • Highly experienced and results-driven C-level Executive with a strong and demonstrable track record in building teams, integrating acquisitions and growing technology, data, professional services, SaaS, B2B and B2B2C services across a variety of sectors, most recently in financial services and fintech.
  • Have led businesses and been on Executive and Plc Boards with turnovers of between £1m-£1bn, often operating in regulated environments. Experience of working in the UK, USA, France, Middle East, India and South East Asia.
  • Was the C-level and Exec lead on the growth strategy and equity story for Equiniti PLC (Advent PE-backed), which was floated on the FTSE in 2015 with a market cap of c.£500m – a very successful exit. Grew the core business organically while buying a number of bolt-on businesses in payments, regtech and shareholder administration. Under my strategic and sales leadership between 2013 and 2017, the business grew revenues by nearly 50% and ebitda by 54%. In 2015 (our maiden results on the FTSE), delivered growth in revenues of 26%, ebitda of 23% and free cash flow of 35%.
  • Have considerable digital and physical start-up and scale-up experience where the challenges are different to the larger corporates, e.g. the need to learn, iterate, pivot and execute at pace, while recruiting and retaining top talent. Have led small and large teams and businesses between 10 to 2000 employees, most recently as the CCO at Pollinate in London, a VC-backed SAAS / data fintech built around card payments for SMEs. Grew the business from zero to £20m between 2018 and 2022.
  • Am now looking for a permanent or interim CEO or CCO role where I can use my leadership, knowledge and experience to drive growth and shareholder value.
