During this role I worked on caisson shaft sinking and other related works. I operated both a 50 tonne extender dipper excavator, and a crawler crane.

For this role I worked as a long reach excavator operator in a water scour protection project.

The various tasks associated with this job are as follows: Mulching, tree shearing, peatbog profiling, ditch blocking, sensitive area work and SSSI work.

This job involved day-to-day running of the construction of the flood defence, this includes: Devegetation, preparation for piling, construct pile and platform, preparation for concrete works, backfill after pile cap construction, drainage works, and reinstate preparation for tar.

This role encompassed: Digging drainage, road maintenance, lifting operations, tending concrete squads, loading trucks, unloading trucks, grading roads and tar prep.

This work included: Breaking rock, bulk earthworks, loading lorries, lifting operations, road formation, crane pad construction, road maintenance and ducting works/reinstating.
