
I am a highly motivated individual that has built up a vast wealth of knowledge over many years working in the domestic gas service and repair industry. Although I enjoy my work very much I am at that stage where I would enjoy new challenges and to be able to pass on my skills to help develop less experienced engineers as I do while working as a Gas Safe inspector, and have in my previous roles as a lead engineer/supervisor
Carry out inspections on Gas Safe registered businesses, to ensure safe working practices, compliance with Gas Installation and Use Regulations and to ensure gas installations comply with the relevant British Standards and Manufacturers Instructions.
Communicate effectively with registered businesses and homeowners to explain installation defects so appropriate remedial work can be carried out to the required standard.
Investigate complaints, identify gas installation defects and complete reports that are issued to the homeowner and registered business so remedial work can be carried out.
Provide advice and support for registered businesses and gas engineers, while also keeping up to date with the latest updates on safe working practices and promoting gas safety.
Attend customers properties to resolve boiler and heating system faults.
Service and maintain heating appliances to manufacturers specifications and comply with Gas safety installation and use regulations 1998.
Follow guidelines on all current Health & Safety and Gas Industry Unsafe Situation Procedures.
Ensure the highest levels of customer care and satisfaction are maintained at all times. This would also involve attending jobs with ongoing problems to identify and resolve any issues.
Provide telephone support for less experienced engineers.
Maintain the highest levels of professionalism at all times as a representative of the company.
Attend customer properties to repair, service and maintain heating systems and gas appliances.
Ensure all Health & Safety, Gas Safety Regulations and Gas Unsafe Situation procedures were followed at all times.

Managed a team of engineers to ensure a prompt high standard of service was provided to Council, Housing Association and private clients.
Communicate efficiently and effectively with colleagues and the office to ensure any problems were resolved quickly
