I have worked with adults and children first as a swim assistant then as a swim teacher for 7 years. I am passionate about swimming being accessible to all, regardless of ability and final goal, and I believe this is true to all learning environments. I pride myself on being able to interact with children and adults learners in a professional and approachable way realising what each individual needs to succeed and ensuring this happens.
I keep up to date with all relevant learning and qualifications to ensure I keep providing excellent teaching standards.
Having completed my degree in textiles, I am very enthusiastic about creativity and bringing this into many aspects of my life. Whether this is creating new games or practices in my lesson plans or in my hobbies and I feel this is a skill that can be applied in many different environments.
