As the Contracts Manager overseeing the East Midlands portfolio, comprising of 23 diverse sites, my role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of security services, the maintenance of strong client relationships, and the achievement of all operational objectives.
Beyond the core areas of service delivery, client liaison, KPIs, and HR, I am responsible for all other operational requirements necessary for the smooth running of the portfolio.
As Head of Security Operations, I oversaw the comprehensive protection of assets across a diverse range of locations, this includes construction, commercial and industrial sites, ensuring the safety and security of both property and the staff. I manage a team of regional managers who coordinate security efforts at more than 60 sites, as well as two control rooms that provide centralized monitoring and support. With responsibility for more than 12,000 manned guarding hours, I ensured that security personnel are deployed effectively, trained to high standards, and equipped to respond to any incidents or threats. My role involves strategic oversight of security operations, from risk assessments and policy implementation to incident management and continuous improvement, ensuring that all locations are secure and operating within company guidelines. I work closely with senior leadership to drive security initiatives, manage resources, and ensure the integrity of operations across the entire portfolio.
As Dual role Services Manager, I successfully mobilized and led a team of security officers and cleaning operatives, ensuring the seamless integration of both services at Jet2's brand new premises. I played a key role in developing and implementing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that governed both security and cleaning operations, aligning them with client expectations and compliance standards. Additionally, I managed all aspects of the contract, including staff recruitment, training, performance monitoring, and day-to-day operations.
As an Intelligence and Operations Supervisor at an NSI Gold-accredited National Operations Centre (NOC), I was responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of critical security operations on a national scale. My role involved supervising a team of operators, analysts, and technicians, ensuring the seamless monitoring of live surveillance, alarm systems, and incident response across multiple sites.
