  • Carried out routine maintenance (PPM) on a wide variety of plant equipment and drives to keep electrical components working at peak levels, as well to reduce the risk of potential plant downtime.
  • Ensured electrics stayed functional, operational and safe by conducting regular inspections servicing and tests.
  • Worked well under pressure to complete time-sensitive repair work and restore key equipment to operational status, both independantly and alongside the maintenance team.
  • Routinely carried out in depth maintenance and job reports for each individual PPM (planned preventative maintenance) or breakdown.
  • Regularly carried out LOTOTO lock out procedure for both myself and others in my team. performed for electrical, mechanical and compressed air (pneumatic) isolation.
  • Followed strict health and safety requirements by following all site standard health and safety requirements and practices, as well as following all current health and safety regulations and legislation.
