Wigton,Cumbria

Summary

My experience ranges from ‘shop floor' to managerial, to analytical and financial.

My Current role as a Deputy Service Manager, I feel, puts me in the perfect job role to align with this Practice Manager post. I have been a Deputy Service Manager for 4 years and have worked in the Breast, Gastro & Urology Service and since 2024 I have worked in the Women's & Children's Collaborative. This role as well as previous roles have given me a plethora of management experience to bring with me and a very strong foundation on which to build further knowledge.

My current role has a very wide and varied job description. But as a highlight of my role I am expected to develop and implement operational polices, guidelines etc. Develop and introduce process change, influence service delivery, line manage staff along with all HR and recruitment processes. Manage and maintain service budgets. In addition to these I am expected to lead and contribute to specific Trust wide projects, develop, maintain and administer the change management process and manage specific change management processes whilst ensuring the patients' needs continue to be met with high quality and cost-effective services.

I am a very ambitious, career driven person and feel this post fits where I am now at in my career.
