My role here started with the Setting Up of Bid contracts within our internal Systems and Liaising with the Bid manufacturers to create new customer bids and manage the full claiming process of these bids.

This started with 5 Brand bids across 100 customers, and is now currently 42 Bids across 300 customers created by 14 brands.

The process is working with the manufacture to create the bid, Set up the claim process and liaise with credit control to advice them of the bid program and its terms and conditions. Setting the Bid up on the customers account and ensuring pricing is visible via all avenues that they may need to order with us, analysing all sales across these programs thought the month to ensure they are being utilised to match the customer's original FC and ensure we are holding enough stock for each bid FC and monitor when we are overstocked due to bid customers not buying the product.

  • Having previously worked for the Company I was asked to come back into the business to run a demanding account base of larger clients, the job role itself was the same as my previous UFP role.
  • The one difference with this is that I was asked to take on a large number of Grouped customers and grow that particular area.
  • The customer area has 100 members within it 12 of which were ordering customers within UFP.
  • On taking this role I put a plan in place to attend this areas group meeting 3 times a year to enable me to build up a relationship with each individual customer.
  • These meetings would consist of an exhibition or presentation to be given during the day and a networking event in the evening.
  • On taking this role the area over 12 customers was bringing in 113,000 Turnover over the year.
  • Within 1 year of having the area it now runs at 1million Turnover a year with over 58 ordering customers.
  • This role was particularly good for me as it gave me the expertise in speaking to large groups of over 60 people presenting and having the confidence to sell the company's offerings face to face.

New Business Team Leader

  • In May 2017 I felt that the business didn't have enough focus on our smaller client base that use us for supply but never really got the full account manager support that they needed to help them grow.
  • I saw a gap in the business and asked if I could set a new business team up within UFP to find brand new opportunities and give some attention to our smaller client base.
  • With that I was made new business team leader starting with a team of 5 people and myself tasked with a mixture of cold calling, re profiling customers who are not using us and speaking with the customers that do order with us but looking for that extra opportunity within these customers.
  • My main role was to manage the team of 5 by putting structure and procedures in place to ensure full success with each team member.
  • Conducting regular sales meetings and updates to monitor the team's progress whole giving important business updates.
  • I am also responsible for the Hiring for the business looking for candidates in all areas of the business, from the interviewing, Training and supporting until the new team member is fully comfortable and set to start their new role within UFP.
  • I am responsible for the day to day monitoring of pricing within the market, Contact maintenance and background systems maintenance include=using customer reports are set up correctly, ensuring customer data is up to date and holds the correct information that the sales team need within their day to day calls.
  • Call monitoring daily to ensure the sales staffs is extracting the information they needs from the customer to be able up sell UFP products and benefits.
  • Another one of my main tasks is looking at overall company objectives and setting staff targets on a monthly basis such as Turnover, profit, call activity and implementing promotions to drive the sales floor.
  • I am also responsible for working closely with all our partnered manufactures understanding their offerings to us our customers and the End user.
  • Ensuring we are using all of the support that is available to us to maximise our sales.
  • General Day to day report finding by using the internal systems available to be to gather information on each customer drilling down into brands sold or not sold and finding extra margin opportunity's within them.
  • Identifying customers that we can get back on board and putting plans and service into place to be able to offer the customers what they require from us.
  • I am also responsible for all company exhibitions and presentations.
  • I have a very good experience of presenting and dealing with large groups of customers at once, from the initial planning of the meetings to the execution.
  • My track record in dealing with larger customer groups and the success they have brought me has given me a fantastic confidence to always deliver a presentation 100% and to organise and be the face of the company at all exhibitions attended.
  • In October 2019 I was asked to manage the Bid process within UFP, this entails using manufacture portals to obtain active bids, being fully responsible for the claim process between UFP and the manufacturers ensuring that the company is receiving all relevant credits relating to any Bid that we have processed for each reseller we supply too.
  • These bids can be anything from large MPS bids to small Brand ink Bids.
  • A big part of this role is setting up and managing all customer pricing, Uploading contracts and in depth sales analyst to ensure as a company our pricing is competitive and correct at all times.

  • I was again promoted within the business to run an account base of 119 Accounts that were the top accounts for the company within the IT based reseller section.
  • My main role was to be responsible for the day to day running of each account by processing purchase orders, preparing quotations, offering and dealing with bespoke marketing to each customer to enable them to hit their target markets correctly.
  • I was responsible for the setting up and monitoring of all price file for each account on all EOS based products, this included maintaining a healthy GP margin whole working towards picking up 80% of the customers EOS business across each account.
  • I had to have a good knowledge of the market including Euro exchange rates and the booking stock in process throughout the business to enable me to ensure that all my price files are always correct and that I am competitive within the market.
  • I always built a fantastic rapport with all my customers and this enabled me to always hit all KPIS Given to me.
  • This job role was fast moving on daily average dealing with over 50 calls a day and around 150 incoming e-mail traffic, while also helping other members of the team who maybe had a higher work load.
  • I was also responsible for being the first contact within UFP for all new customer sets up.
