Passionate about Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, with a strong interest in using mathematical models to explore and apply physics concepts. Currently part of a three-person engineering team at Collyer’s, working on optimising apogee and flight time using OpenRocket, a virtual mathematical modelling software.
Beyond academics, an accomplished musician and performer as the lead guitarist and singer of The Sham Band. Regularly writes original music, performs live at local venues, and actively develops the band’s brand. Frequent rehearsals and live performances have strengthened collaboration, communication, and adaptability within a team.
I made an Electric Guitar from scratch for my GCSE project which allowed me to become proficient at woodworking for building the body of the guitar and to improve my understanding of advanced electronic circuits and wiring!
I am working on making a Leslie Rotary Speaker as part of my CREST project which has posed many mechanical and conceptual challenges that I have had to work through and I feel I have really learned from.
I sourced all of the correct parts for and constructed my own PC at age 12 which i used to learn 3D design in 'Blender' and code 3D FPS and reaction games in Unity & Unreal Engine. This lead me to use complex code to enable the user to interact with the 3D environment and characters of my games.
