- Shift leader Tesco Express, Kettering, Northamptonshire. Being a leader at Tesco I have had a lot of important responsibilities ranging from back-office cash to ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues. The main part of my role is to be the front face of the shop and make sure my team always delivers the best shopping experience they can for the customers and to do so safely and legally. Within the years of being with Tesco, I have experienced a lot of different situations that have forced me out of my comfort zone and made me use my initiative to ensure that the problem has been dealt with professionally.
- Another main role is to ensure the shop is up to safe and legal standards, so I have to push myself and my team to make sure the shop is Audit ready and is up to standards. I have worked in multiple stores, Kettering fuel station being my newest store, My previous store was Oakley vale Express which was a very fast paced 100k a week shop which is where i spent my time as a shift leader, Another shop I have worked and helped was Rothwell express which was a much slower paced shop and let me focus on my team management and crisis management skills as they were in somewhat of a hole when I went to help. I moved to the fuel station to learn more skills and experience a different type of atmosphere within retail. And i was also the 'A' for the store in Oakley which is the assistant manager and being second in charge.

- During my time at Kettering Motorist Centre, I was able to become very confident with all types of Tyre fittings from Runflats, All-terrain/All seasons, luxury, and sports wheels I got a chance to experience them all and got to a stage where I was wanting more and more new things to learn. On top of the tyres I also got to learn how to do alignments on vehicles, I had experience with older manual gauges and newer ones which were computer-based. I was originally hired at KMC as a Trainee service technician before I got my experience with tyres however due to how busy they got at the time I was moved on to helping with the massive load they were getting.
