My responsibilities are broad-ranging, primarily supporting the staff in the day-to-day delivery of activities and delivering on sessions. Staff training, development, and observations.
Managing groups on arrival and throughout their stay, which includes liaising with school staff, consulting medical forms, and preparing any necessary alterations to delivery sessions to accommodate additional needs.
Site and activity development and maintenance, along with daily and periodic monitoring checks on the Climbing and Abseil tower, High and Low Ropes courses, and the lake area. Periodic equipment checks and maintenance, where required.
Primarily, delivering OAA (Outdoor and Adventurous Activities) during curriculum PE lessons to KS2 children, FMS (Fundamental Movement Skills) to KS1 and EYFS, and carrying out an end-of-term assessment on the children's performance levels.
Secondary role is planning and delivering OAA events and experiences for KS1, 2, and 3 children, along with inclusion/SEN groups across the borough. Events include but are not limited to orienteering competitions, OAA challenge experiences, and local camping expeditions.
I have also delivered on the Bikeability programme, and have established a Balance Bike programme for EYFS.
Initially delivering a range of Outdoor pursuits activities to a broad clientele, including schools, scouts and guides to Princes Trust, Corporate and Private groups.
Delivered on bespoke activities to Respite care group with ranging additional Physical, developmental and behavioural needs.
Delivered on varying BTEC and NCFE courses to college students from across the country studying Sports and Uniformed Services courses.
My roles involved all aspects of assisting in the running of a large retail outlet. This included opening and closing of shop, stock rotation and merchandising, managing a group of staff and customer support.
I was also the bike technician, responsible for assembling and Pre-Delivery Inspections of bikes. I carried out any repairs and maintenance including ordering relevant parts from a variety of manufacturers.
