It was a one day event where I volunteered to be a Waiter for a investors Christmas dinner.

During this short dinner I:

• Collaborated with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and efficient order preparation and delivery.
• Supported team members during peak service hours to maintain high-quality service standards.
• Accommodated special dietary requests, enhancing customer dining experience.
• Participated in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge of menu offerings and service techniques.
• Communicated efficiently with fellow team members, fostering a harmonious working environment.
• Delivered excellent customer service through friendly and polite interaction.
• Maintained professional appearance throughout shifts, reflecting positively on establishment image.
• Managed table settings for optimal dining experience.
• Enhanced customer satisfaction by promptly attending to queries and requests.
• Served meals and drinks with professionalism and skill, maintaining high presentation and quality standards.

It was a week long experience were I had the opportunity to go into a school and help out in a range of different classroom environments ranging from years 1-6.

The skill I learnt throughout the week:

• Organised classroom resources and materials to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
• Prepared classroom materials for effective teaching sessions.
• Provided support to students with special educational needs by adapting learning materials.
• Supervised lunch breaks and playground activities to ensure child safety at all times.
• Utilised creative teaching aids for engaging instructional delivery.
• Conducted reading sessions with small groups; enhanced literacy skills amongst pupils.
• Offered one-on-one assistance to struggling learners; improved their understanding of complex topics.
