I've been in the motor trade over 25 plus years. Only working for 3 companies and at each place shown the skills and attitude needed to progress to either team leader, supervisor and when needed Workshop Controller. In some instances been given the responsibility to either open up or close the site.
I believe I am the right candidate for the roll due to the attributes I possess.
•Knowledge of the product and systems
•Leadership skills - ability to fore see issues, find solutions so vehicle off road time is kept to a minimal. Guide foreman's into keeping technicians
- standards high
- working within times given
- parts returns and signed in
- minimise waste
- maximise space
- job cards straight on system and wrote up correctly.
•Lifting and keeping morale high to produce high productivity and a helpful nature
•Health and Safety - Working closely with the foreman's to ensuring a 100% safe working environment. Making sure correct tooling and documents are kept up to date and to hand.
• Approachable- the mindset to believe every problem/issue can be resolved one way or another.
• Organisation - I believe I have the ability to pull the reception, parts department and workshop closer together. Having daily updates, handovers from each shift foreman, meetings about next weeks booked vehicles, defects and recalls. Making sure correct parts are on the shelf for a "one time visit" goal to maximise profit and productivity.
Using drivers to their full potential, breakdowns are responded to efficiently with correct parts and steam cleans and valets are done promptly and to a high standard for customer satisfaction.
In summary I am a hard working, honest person with leadership skill with a problem solving mindset. I'm fully on board with joining your team and together taking your company to the next level and beyond.
Thank you
