Summary

Daniel Looney is an Olivier Award and Whatsonstage Award winning Producer for his work on Company and Bonnie & Clyde respectively. Starting out as a West End actor and composer, Daniel soon transitioned to becoming a prominent Producer in London, producing six West End musicals, five major UK & Ireland tours, dozens of London concerts as well as multiple international (and award winning) productions.

As part of his CEO role at DLAP Group, Daniel oversaw the creative output of the company, working closely with directors, authors, creatives, designers, actors, orchestra, technicians and stage management to develop, curate and produce high-quality and entertaining productions, as well as leading the management team to deliver projects on time and within budget. Daniel worked closely with the President in cultivating prosperous relationships with investors and shareholders, turning over £44m in just five years (inclusive of Covid-19 related industry shutdown).

Daniel also oversaw the acquisition of London-based Events & Concerts company, Club11, which was subsequently rebranded to Fourth Wall Live, with a large equity investment that resulted in a 400% output increase within the first year of trading. Daniel further was instrumental in the formation of Creative Rights International, a theatrical IP acquisition and development production, which Daniel led the creative charge to acquire 12 new titles to form a portfolio of theatrical rights based on film, television, novels and uniquely commissioned work.
