I am a client-focused, Chartered Building Services Engineer with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality MEP design and consultancy services across multiple sectors. Throughout my career, I have maintained a commitment to technical excellence — something I now view as a fundamental expectation rather than a differentiator. My true focus lies in leading teams, driving projects to successful delivery, and creating an environment where engineers are empowered to perform at their best. I take pride in fostering collaboration, maintaining client trust, and ensuring that every project meets both technical and commercial objectives. My experience spans a wide range of sectors including healthcare, residential, retail, and data centres, with a particular passion for the complexity and challenge of high-rise developments.

From the early stages of my career, I have been driven by a strong desire to lead and develop teams. This has included managing multidisciplinary groups of MEP engineers through various project design stages, as well as leading the Public Health and Fire Suppression engineering team at WSP.

Throughout my career, including my time at Design 24 Consulting, I have continued to lead and mentor engineers across a range of disciplines and levels of experience. This has involved guiding Public Health and Mechanical engineers within Design 24, supporting junior engineers at several MEP building services consultancies across the UK, and coordinating with international engineering teams responsible for design and drawing production.

I believe that effective leadership is rooted in understanding and respecting individual differences. I take pride in adapting my management approach to suit each person’s background, culture, and working style, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that enables every team member to perform at their best.

During my four years as a Director at Design 24 Consulting, I have taken pride in building a business founded on trust, technical quality, and efficient project delivery. Our success has been driven by a strong base of repeat clients who value our consistent performance and collaborative approach. Notably, around 50% of our projects are commissioned through other building services consultants across the UK, a dynamic that requires professionalism, transparency, and alignment with their core values. I have focused on developing strong working relationships, ensuring complete confidence in our role as a trusted delivery partner, and eliminating any concerns of conflict of interest.
