My responsibilities in this role were to assist in the planning and execution of maintenance campaigns initially on Judy gas turbines.
This role was based in the company offices in Aberdeen with offshore mobilisations for the execution phase of the planned activities.
Developed permits and isolations for various work scopes, along with requisite job step plans. Contributed to outage plan creation for seamless operations. Led offshore vendor supervision, acting as the primary contact for troubleshooting and material verification. Coordinated with onshore vendor personnel to enhance communication and collaboration.
Assumed barge team leader role in August 2016, facilitating co-ordination of project teams, asset integrity teams, and vendors during Judy compression optimisation project (JCOP) and 2016 maintenance shutdown.
The Judy Compression Optimisation project (JCOP)was a large scale compression upgrade for Judy to assist in maximising production at lower suction pressures. I had 3 direct reports in this role to assist with instrument and electrical queries the project may have. I became the main operations focal point during the commissioning of the upgraded compression trains. This included identification of logic issues which were different from original intent. During the commissioning phase I trained up any involved operators with the changes to the equipment and logic to ensure they were capable to operate the upgraded compression trains.
Post commissioning of the compressors I wrote a Job step plan to allow the compression trains to be set up correctly post any maintenance outage to prevent any excursion from design.
My role in the single train team expanded from being responsible for Judy gas turbine maintenance to campaign maintenance outages on separation vessels on Judy. These included Separator desanding, Zinc Oxide bed media replacement and larger annual shutdowns were my position was responsible for progress reporting, dealing with any emerging issues and communicating these with onshore support
