I worked at an agency called Groomfield that collaborated with a company called euro packing where I picked, packed and dispatched high-volume orders, consistently exceeding warehouse performance targets also I have to scan, sorted and diverted packages in order to carry out picking and packing responsibilities in line with accuracy targets

I also Loaded lorries to facilitate prompt delivery schedules also I had to packaged goods on to trucks for shipping and I had to make sure it was secured and organised goods into delivery lanes ahead of dispatch.

I enjoyed working as a team to keep clean work areas, promoting better productivity and safety standards.

Unfortunately I was made redundant due to it being the Christmas period as work was quite I was told if anymore work was to come available I would receive a call however I did not hear anything back.

During my time at collage I have pass level 1,2 and 3 In carpentry. I had to work independently and as a team to build necessary items like doors ,locks and wall frames skirt boards roofs drain pipes. I was also given the opportunity to go on a placement to a construction site for a future hospital, where I learnt the importance of working as a team and health and safety and problem solving.

CMC – Construction Material Consultancy

During this placement I discussed with the staff about the kind of customers we should be targeting and who would use the type of products that the company had to offer. We then went through techniques when phoning clients and securing quality appointments with them and other businesses. I then helped put together a diary and discussed best ways of using the time we had, which helped me maintain time keeping skills. I then trusted to attend meetings at senior management and director level – this was to secure any orders being made and sell the products we had to offer.
