  • After being on the lead generation team in Think Business Loans for a couple months and consistently hitting the targets given I achieved an internal promotion to a junior lending manager which included new training and a whole different role with more of a focus on sales. This current role has a day to day of picking up leads from the lead generation team and ensuring that my clients have a smooth and understanding journey into looking and obtaining finance for their business. This role has taught me a significant amount about businesses as a whole, financial services and also mainly giving me experience in sales. The experience will be beneficial for my career path and to hit and excel over targets that are handed to me.

  • Switching from McDonalds into a lead generation team in Finance was a big change and came with a whole new set of challenges, but after training and a good amount of on the job learning I managed to get around these challenges which allowed me to excel day to day and pass the targets that had to be hit. This lead generation role included taking on warm leads that had made enquiries for loans for their businesses through multiple different platforms and passing these customers through the funnel. As well as this there was also an importance on pipeline management ensuring that I could find conversions where I could so calling through years’ worth of data would be beneficial the business and targets as well.
