I currently run a shift of 17 people making sure that all KPI's are meet and Food production is meet with the highest standard of Food Safety and Food Quality. Day to Day running includes standard work plus training,wages,ordering stock,priority lines running through breaks,meetings.
Role: Making sure all aspects of the company ran smoothly reporting weekly to stakeholders. Job included ordering stock, Setting up folding and stitching lines and guillotine for finished products, Making schedules and daily plans to make sure products where with our customers on time.Sending works to other finishing houses for Foiling,Laminating and die cutting. I managed to get turnover from £800,000 to £1.2 million over the 3 years i was with the company by pulling on my extensive knowledge of the trade and getting new customers to come along for the ride.
Role: Managing Nightshift running of upto 25 staff, Setting up Folders,Stitching Lines and Guillotines Checking file copies,Sending customer hourly production figures and making sure stock in collected and dropped off correctly. Also reporting to Managing Director with figures throughout nightshift and weekend work.

Role: Managing day to day operations of Peak Print Finishing. I brought the company when the previous owner had passed away and added 5 staff and took turnover up from £65,000 a year up to £200,000. Upon taking over the business i immediately identified quality control weaknesses in the production process,rectified and therefore improved the product to meet the specifications of my customer base. Due to the difficult challenging economic environment several key clients had to cease trading early 2009 and it became to hard to run a business without moving my customer base further a field which then impacted profit so i closed the door in March 2009
