After leaving Tesco, I sought a new challenge and applied to Wickes for the opening of a new store in Durham. In my role as a Sales Assistant, I leverage my retail experience and ability to work independently while handling responsibilities such as managing customer complaints, processing refunds, and overseeing showroom returns. One of my key responsibilities at Wickes involves placing customer orders for delivery, which requires understanding customer needs, preferences, and budgets, while also presenting opportunities for upselling.

After leaving Crest, I secured a Christmas position at Tesco as a stock filler. My key responsibilities included assisting customers with inquiries and replenishing shelves, as well as supporting various departments, including the tills. Due to my strong performance during the Christmas period, I was offered a full-time role in general merchandise. This position involved a variety of tasks, from basic stocking and customer assistance to handling high-value returns and resolving customer complaints and technical

After finishing my 3 year collage course I applied for a year apprenticeship at Crest safes where my main role was as a spray painter of both industry and bespoke safes for a wide range of clientele. Not only was I a spray painter but I also learned valuable skills such as fabrication and basic key cutting, as not only does Crest create bespoke custom safes but they are also a locksmiths. I learned a lot of valuable skills in this position such as craftsmanship, sales technique and independence as my job often required I work alone and to a high standard.

My first job was as a shop assistant for the retail chain Home bargains after just leaving school. I applied for this weekend position while I was at college and some of my main roles at this position were as till staff and stock filler. Having worked both of these job roles, I gained a good understanding of both tasks and the ability to work them unassisted.
