
Compassionate and highly organised professional with over 20 years of experience in administration, customer service and healthcare support roles. Experienced in working within busy, high-pressure environments requiring excellent communication, teamwork and attention to detail. Holds a BSc (Hons) in Health Sciences and previous NHS clinical experience, including patient care, monitoring observations and supporting healthcare professionals within a busy antenatal clinic. Passionate about providing high standards of care and client service, with a genuine interest in animal welfare and a strong willingness to learn and develop within a veterinary environment.
After completing my degree in Health Sciences, I was employed as a Maternity Support Worker for one of the UKs best known teaching hospitals, Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London. My role was to assist pregnant patients, midwives and consultants in the day to day running of a very busy Antenatal Clinic.
I am also an active member of the PTFA for Furness Vale Primary School, helping to organise events and school activities to raise funds for the children, the school and our local village.
